The Huntington County Community School preschool program continues to expand with plans to open at Roanoke Elementary in August 2025, bringing the district closer to its goal of having a preschool in every elementary building.

Huntington County elementary schools showcased their mathematical talents at the 29th annual M.A.T.H. Bowl Competition hosted by Roanoke Elementary School, with Roanoke claiming first place in the Red Class division.

Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps offers a range of opportunities in navigating enlistment pathways.
Welding Technology
From foundational principles to advanced fabrication, students earn industry certifications and dual college credits while building the technical expertise demanded by manufacturing, construction, and industrial careers.
M.A.T.H. Bowl
The competition is based on The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics publication Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics. Any student enrolled in grades 4-6 is eligible to compete on that school’s team.
Fire & Safety
Train to serve your community in its most critical moments. Our Fire & Rescue program provides hands-on training in fire safety—preparing Vikings for careers as firefighters and rescue personnel through rigorous physical training and real-world scenarios.
