Supporting Our District Through Financial Excellence and Employee Services

The Business Services department serves as the financial and administrative backbone of Huntington County Community Schools, ensuring responsible stewardship of district resources and comprehensive support for our employees. Led by our Chief Operating Officer, this department manages all aspects of district finances including budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting through our Director of Finance and Corporation Treasurer. Additionally, Business Services oversees Human Resources functions, providing essential support for employee relations, benefits administration, and personnel services. Our team is committed to maintaining fiscal responsibility, transparency, and excellence in service to support the educational mission of our district while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

NOTICE OF HEARING

Pursuant to Indiana Code § 20-26-7-37, the Board of School Trustees of Huntington County Community School Corporation gives notice that on September 22, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., they will meet in public session at Huntington North High School Cafeteria, 450 MacGahan Street, Huntington, Indiana, to discuss and hear objections and support regarding the proposed renovation of and improvements to school facilities, including building safety & security, window replacement, exterior building maintenance, interior painting, HVAC improvements, and Salamonie natatorium and locker room demo & restroom renovation, other deferred maintenance improvements, and the purchase of equipment and technology. The meeting will also be available to stream live from www.hccsc.k12.in.us. You are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing.
