Crestview Middle School Students to Perform in Three Rivers Honors Band
Crestview Middle School students continue to develop their craft through lessons, repetition, failures, and successes. Under the direction of Nash Flanagin, students continue to excel and strive to become better each and every day. Select students will have the opportunity to share their talents in the upcoming Three Rivers Honors Band due to Mr. Flanigan's passion to have every student excel and students willingness to go through a rigorous application process.
The Three Rivers Honors Band is an annual performance hosted by Purdue University Fort Wayne. Middle School and High School students from the region can apply to be a part of the Three Rivers Honors Band by sending in an audition tape. "Audition tapes have to show proof in playing scales and music excerpts that best demonstrate technical and expressive playing." states Flanagin.
Congratulations to Ruthie Stout, Levi Skiles, Aiden Wohlford and Nora Davis for their tremendous efforts to earn a prestigious spot in the Three Rivers Honors Band. Students will take the stage at Auer Performance Hall at Purdue University Fort Wayne on December 2nd at 1:30 pm.
