Special Services
Welcome to HCCS’s Special Services Department page!
Our focus each day is to make “Kid First” decisions. As a staff, we are able to provide a continuum of services to meet the individual unique needs of our students. HCCSC special education provides supports and services to students aged three through 22 who are found eligible for services. Our department is comprised of certified special education teachers, paraprofessionals, school psychologists, educational diagnosticians, social workers, speech, occupational and physical therapists, special education coordinator, and special education director.
As the Director of Special Services, I am committed to making the best decisions to meet the needs to all students. I believe all students can learn. It is my duty to ensure parents, students, and teachers are equipped with the knowledge, support, and services to make that happen. HCCS is dedicated to working as a team to help your student reach their full potential.
