We intentionally personalize learning to support English Learners in developing language, confidence, and academic success—because every student deserves to thrive.

At Huntington County Community Schools, we are proud to support students and families from many languages and cultures. Our English Learner (EL) Program is designed to help students who are learning English feel confident, supported, and successful in school.
We work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide personalized support that helps students learn English while continuing to grow in all subjects. We value each student’s home language and culture and believe they are important parts of who they are and how they learn.
Our goal is to create a welcoming school environment where English Learners feel safe, included, and encouraged to reach their full potential—today and in the future.
