Huntington North High School recognized former Lady Viking basketball player Abbi (Wilson) Rosen during halftime of the Lady Vikes’ game on Wednesday against Wayne, as Rosen was recently named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2022 Women’s Silver Anniversary Team.

Huntington North High School's own Nick Altman has been selected as one of 18 Teachers of the Year in Indiana to be recognized during the College Football Playoffs National Championship Weekend this coming weekend in Indianapolis! Among the activities Altman will participate in are a day-long professional development summit, on-field recognition at the College Football Playoffs National Championship and being one of the teachers who will hold the American flag during the national anthem prior to the start of the College Football Playoffs National Championship.

Huntington North High School seniors Addy Wiley and Harrison Niswander competed on the state’s biggest stage for high school cross country, running in the IHSAA Cross Country State Finals on Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. Wiley recorded her third consecutive top-10 finish at the State Finals by placing seventh in the girls race, while Niswander placed 120th overall in his State Finals debut in the boys race.
