Huntington, IN—November 26, 2025


Huntington County Community Schools is pleased to announce that Chuck Brimbury has been named Interim Superintendent, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the Huntington community.

 

Mr. Brimbury currently serves as the corporation’s Director of Secondary Education and began his teaching and coaching career at Huntington North High School in 1994. His leadership background includes serving as Superintendent of Peru Community Schools from 2010–2014, during which he was recognized as Indiana District Superintendent of the Year and honored as Ball State University Alumnus of the Year for significant gains in student achievement.

 

Mr. Brimbury and his wife of 31 years, Michelle, have three children—Nolan, Nathan, and Madison—and are proud grandparents to their grandson, Brooks. Reflecting on his appointment, Brimbury shared, “I am blessed to step into this role as Interim Superintendent at HCCS. HCCS is one of the top school corporations in the state. We have outstanding students and our team will work passionately to “Go Above and Beyond” to meet their needs at HCCS.”
