Huntington, Indiana – CoCoJo's Campground, a popular spot for relaxation and community events in Lagro, Indiana, hosted its first Annual Car Show this past September. This new tradition promises to be a highlight for both the local car enthusiast community and anyone looking to support a good cause. Thanks to the dedication of Cocojo's staff, generous attendees, and Huntington County Community School Corporation (HCCSC) Board Member Gary McClellan, the event raised $1,002.75 in support of Blessings in a Backpack—a nonprofit that provides weekend meals to Huntington County students in need.

Gary McClellan, a familiar face at Cocojo’s, took an active role in the event, handling food for attendees and collaborating with Cheryl McCoy, a Cocojo's employee, to choose a cause that would make a meaningful impact. "We wanted to ensure the event would support something truly local and beneficial for kids in our area," McClellan said. His suggestion of Blessings in a Backpack struck a chord with the Cocojo’s team, who wholeheartedly embraced the idea.

The Huntington County Community School Corporation thanks Cocojo's, McClellan, and everyone involved for their commitment to Huntington County students. Each car show entry, each meal prepared, and every dollar raised has made a difference in the lives of local children, creating a brighter future for the community as a whole.
