HCCS Board Celebrates Outstanding Achievements this Fall
Huntington, IN - The December 16th Huntington County Community School Corporation Board
Meeting highlighted the incredible achievements and contributions of individuals and groups who exemplify the district's Core Values.
Mr. Kevin Yarger was recognized for his dedicated service on the school board, showcasing Accountability, High Expectations, and Community Support in his leadership.
The Huntington North High School Band celebrated a record-breaking year, with eight students selected for prestigious Honor Bands, including the IJEA All-State Jazz Ensemble and IMEA All-State Honor Concert Band. This remarkable accomplishment underscores the growth of the band program and the talent of its members.
The Huntington North Varsity Football Team was honored for their historic 2024 season, capturing the Sectional Title for the first time since 1993. Led by their captains and Head Coach Mike Eshbach, the Vikings demonstrated resilience and excellence both on and off the field.
HCCS is proud to celebrate these achievements, which highlight the district's commitment to High Expectations, Accountability.
