Introducing Indiana SUN Bucks by Indiana Department of Education

Indiana Department of Education is thrilled to announce the launch of Indiana SUN Bucks, a groundbreaking benefits program aimed at supporting families during the summer months. Starting this Summer 2024, Indiana SUN Bucks will provide $120 for each eligible school-aged child, helping families purchase groceries when school is out.
We understand that summer can pose challenges for many families, with children missing out on the free and reduced-price meals they receive during the school year. With Indiana SUN Bucks, families can breathe easier knowing they have extra support to put nutritious meals on the table.
Most eligible families will automatically receive these benefits, ensuring a seamless process. However, we encourage parents who may not be automatically enrolled to apply and take advantage of this valuable assistance.
