HCCSC Board of School Trustees member J. Ryan Wall was recognized at Monday night's board meeting for receiving an Advanced Award from the Indiana School Board Association’s Exemplary Governance Awards program.
The EGA program celebrates school board members who have demonstrated a commitment to student success and excellence in public service by engaging in regular and ongoing professional development and learning. By receiving the Advanced Award, Wall has earned at least 125 EGA points through attending ISBA-sponsored or recognized trainings, seminars, and conferences. Just 197 school board members in Indiana received EGA awards, with 60 receiving the Advanced Award, which is the second of four levels of recognition.
Wall was recognized at the board meeting during the core values section for displaying the core value of High Expectations, High Achievement, and Accountability.
