That’s why Huntington County Community Schools (HCCS) proudly serves as a catalyst for both student and community prosperity in Huntington County, Indiana. Our dynamic curriculum, compassionate employees, and community focus put families’ minds to rest when their children are in our care. We’re confident that the lessons learned—both from our curriculum and from their personal experiences—will prepare our students for wherever life takes them after they leave our halls.

Every member of our staff, no matter what subject they teach, what office they work in or even what building they service, is willing to go out of their way to help students thrive in all aspects of life. Our students are what make our schools great places to learn and grow, and they’re the reason we love what we do. Many of us grew up here, and many of us have children currently in the school system. That means we’re uniquely positioned to have empathy and appreciation for students, parents and our county as a whole.

In the classroom, our students get to see firsthand how supportive environments are made by working together, building each other up and problem-solving as a united team. The goal is that they’ll take those life lessons and use them to create a brighter future—because strong students make a strong community.
