Welcome to Huntington Schools!
As Director of Special Programs for HCCSC, my passion centers on empowering our students to achieve their PERSONAL BEST. Starting my 30th formal year in Education, I believe in serving a student as an individual through ALL three areas: academic, social and emotional well-being.

My responsibilities within the district allow this to happen. I work closely with all principals and administration to shore-up gaps and build bridges to increase one’s success through federal, state, and local resources.

Therefore, my priority lies on providing high quality experiences for all students when initiating their educational career at Huntington Schools.

To share a bit about myself, I am a lifelong learner. I did attend HCCSC as a student; moved away for a few years to study, marry, and acquire experiences. When time to raise a family, my husband and I returned to Huntington. All three of our children attend, or have graduated from HCCSC.

I value family, community involvement, and service engagement as avenues to develop, foster, and grow. I embrace the moment while seeking opportunities to release ‘potential’. Ultimately, I desire a partnership where we become a ‘team’.

Through ongoing collaboration and communication, we need to partner to assure your child’s growth and success in their pursuit of academic achievement. I look forward to our work together!

Educationally yours,

Trace

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
