A beautiful autumn morning led to a great turnout for the ceremony including the 420 current Stonewalls. HCCSC School Board of Trustees, members of Barton-Coe-Vilamaa Architecture Firm, Fetters Construction, Inc., and many residents of the Roanoke community were also on hand to celebrate this event with us. We were able to live-stream the ceremony so that those who were unable to attend could watch from wherever they may be…near or far. The HCCSC Food Service Department provided cookies and punch for everyone to share and mark this special occasion.

The new 87,000 square foot building will be home to more than 400 students, and will be open for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. “We are excited for the school corporation and the community of Roanoke. The new building will provide for future growth and new educational opportunities for our students,” commented Principal Seth Parker.
